An extensive blood analysis will provide information about your nutritional status (vitamins and trace minerals), and how well your organs function (CRP, blood percentage, as well as blood cells, platelets, liver function, cholesterol, fatty acids, kidney function, insulin production, blood sugar and blood sugar over time).
Decisions regarding further treatment will be based on the first consultation and the blood analysis. In addition, we will
measure your body composition (percentage of body fat, solid body mass and body fluids) to ensure balanced and controlled
weight loss or weight gain. Whether you need to see a doctor or a dietitian depends on your initial condition/diagnosis.
If you need help changing your diet or losing weight, seeing a dietitian would be the best place to start. He/she can then
refer you to a doctor if that is necessary. If you know you suffer from a disease that is more complex or requires medical
treatment, it would be best to contact one of the doctors first. He/she can then refer you to a dietitian if need be. Both
the dietitian and the doctor can also refer you to a physical activity advisor or a Gestalt Therapist if necessary.
If you are unsure what would be best for you, our medical assistants can advise you further when you book an appointment by
phone or e-mail.
