Weight In Balance offers individualized treatment and guidance to the severely obese and to patients with other lifestyle-associated
diseases. Treatment is provided by a multi-disciplinary team of specialists in Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, Psychology and
Exercise Physiology. In August 2003, a second clinic was opened in Trondheim, Norway.
Dr. Lindberg’s Academy organizes theoretical and practical trainings for private individuals, groups, companies and other
organizations. Certified course leaders, all with a medical and/or nutrition-related training, run a variety of courses in
most districts throughout Norway. The practical cooking courses are taught by professional chefs or certified course leaders.
Courses tailored to specific needs are available upon request. Twice a year, the Clinic organizes a "Health Workshop" trip
to Greece.
Dr. Lindberg has developed products which are distributed to food stores, health food stores and bakeries across Norway. The
assortment consists of bread, baking mixes for bread and cakes, breakfast cereals (muesli) and fructose. These products are
designed to offer more options to people who want to achieve a healthy diet, one consisting of foods which are low on the
glycemic index. All the products are made from healthy and natural ingredients, which are combined in a balanced composition
of low-glycemic carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats.

Our History
Dr. Lindberg’s Clinic, Weight In Balance (Vekt i Balanse) was founded in Oslo in August 1999.
